    Summary

    Supports project execution and coordinates various components throughout the entire project cycle.

    Essential Functions

    · Assist Project & Construction Managers with project scheduling, coordination, execution, and documentation.

    · Assist Project & Construction Managers with project-related questions and other miscellaneous information as needed.

    · Assist with project estimating functions. Oversees multiple projects simultaneously.

    · Performs site visits on a regular basis to ensure quality of the project.

    · Serves as a liaison between the construction crew and corporate Project Manager.

    · Obtains all necessary permits and licenses.

    · Supports all subcontracting Request for Quotes (RFQ)

    · Maintains a log on submittals, Request for Information (RFI), and Potential Change Orders (PCO).

    · Anticipates company’s needs, providing pertinent information related to the project and general coordination with daily project activities.

    · Creates, disseminates, and retains project documents – ensuring that memos, faxes, emails and in-person communication issues are properly reported and/or distributed to those in management.

    · Provides accurate and timely information to division management, subcontractors and all other parties as needed.

    · Responsible for multiple roles within purchasing and receiving as well as project administration and database work.

    · Central point of communication between field workers, the client, vendors, suppliers, drivers/deliveries.

    · Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

    · Maintains an 811 One Call Log and works with Foreman to ensure up to date One Calls are placed and maintained as needed.

    · Review and process crew time cards daily by 9 AM the following workday

    Supervisory Responsibility

    This position does not have supervisory responsibility.

    Physical Demands

    This is a largely sedentary role; however, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk and hear, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, office equipment or controls and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

    The employee is required to work in an indoor environment.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

    This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday from 7:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. Evening and other weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

    Travel

    Travel is expected; remote job site visits to support and assist with various project requirements will be a responsibility for this position.

    Required Education and Experience

    · High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.

    · Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field is preferred.

    · 2 + years project coordination experience

    · 2+ years’ experience working in construction industry; Pipeline construction experience is highly preferred

    · Previous experience effectively managing budget and project financials.

    · Knowledge of Microsoft Office must have strong MS Excel skills.

    · Ability to work well within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

    · Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

    · Strong verbal and written communication skills

    · Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required.

    · Strong organizational, computer, customer service and administrative skill sets.

    · Good problem-solving skills and exceptional customer service skills.

    · Exceptional communication skills (verbal & written), ability to multi-task, and a good work ethic.

    · Strong computer skill set with Microsoft Office Suite of Products including MS Project.

    · Proficient with P6 Primavera scheduling software.

    · Strong analytical skills

    · Ability to multi-task

    · Strong time management skills

    · Self-starter and self-motivated
